2026 29ER EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP

Dear competitors,

It is our great honour to invite you to the 2026 29er European Championship. This feast of sailing will take place at Lake Lipno, which is the best place that the Czech Republic can offer for sailing – being in the middle of nature with steady winds – two valuable things that we can all appreciate as sailors.

Our motto is: We don't want to organize a regular regatta, we want to organize the most unforgettable regatta, which everyone will have extraordinary memories of for a lifetime.

We are really looking forward to seeing you all at Lake Lipno in August!

The closest airport is Linz in Austria (approx. 1h drive). The closest Czech airport is Prague (approx. 3h drive). Rent cars available at both airports. If you are interested we can organize a transport for you.

Accommodation

• Accommodation "over the wall".

  • Jestřábí Camp offers cabbins just at the lakeside. There are also possibilites of camping or car-camping.

• 5 minutes walk from the club! Family campsite with a beautiful view and almost 1 km long beach.

  • Camp Villa Bohemia can accommodate you in cabins or you can park your caravan/RV on one of the plots.

• 10 minutes walk from the club! Spectacular views and great local restaurant!

  • Hotel Jestřábí is the best option for accommodation in nice apartments overlooking the lake.

The Šumava region is one of the most beautiful regions in the Czech Republic and is a great holiday destination for lots of activities.
